Procedure
A student may obtain an application for enrollment directly from
the Admissions Office by written or telephone request. A

application from this website. The completed
application should be returned to the College as far in advance
of actual enrollment as possible. As processing usually
takes three to four weeks, an application should be submitted to
the Admissions Office at least thirty (30) days prior to
enrollment.
Educational
Requirements
Educational
requirements are prescribed by statute as well as rules and
regulations of the funeral service licensing board of the state
in which a student desires to obtain licensure following
graduation from Mid-America College. It is essential that an
applicant be familiar with these requirements before enrollment.
As licensing criteria vary considerably from state to state, it
is strongly recommended that the applicant contact his state
licensing board or the Admissions Office to insure compliance
with such well in advance of the anticipated enrollment date. A
listing of state funeral service licensing agencies is found on
Pages 30-31 of the Catalog. An applicant must comply fully
with all rules and regulations required by the licensing board
of the state in which he or she wishes to practice prior to
enrollment. Otherwise, an applicant will not be accepted for
admission into the College. The minimum requirement for
admission in all cases is high school graduation or its
equivalent.
Application For

The
Application for Matriculation should be filled out completely
and returned to the Admissions Office. In addition, the
following items are required for admission to the College:
 |
A high school transcript, or it's equivalent, certifying graduation
and official academic transcripts from all other educational
institutions previously attended by the applicant. Official transcript(s) must
be sent directly to the Admissions Office from all colleges
previously attended. |
 |
A $50.00

community as easy as possible. The student should plan to arrive a day or two early to get
settled before college work begins.
