Mid-America College of Funeral
Service is located at 3111 Hamburg Pike in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the northeast sector of the greater Louisville, Kentucky metropolitan area, including Jefferson County, Kentucky and Clark and Floyd Counties of Southern Indiana.
Within a few minutes of the College are new residential developments, numerous churches, shopping centers, apartments, restaurants, golf courses and excellent water sports recreational
facilities. Southern Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky metropolitan area offers a unique living and educational experience for all students who attend Mid-America College.
Louisville and Southern Indiana has come to be recognized as the largest industrial hub of the region and a center for culture, recreation, and sports activities. Thirteen colleges and universities, including the University of Louisville and Indiana University-Southeast, provide many community-based educational programs, as well as additional opportunities for higher learning for the enterprising student. In addition, several hundred churches of all denominations serve the metropolitan community.
When combined with the areas excellent recreational facilities and opportunities, such as sport and recreational boating on the Ohio River, excellent fishing at many area lakes, the well maintained Metropolitan Parks System with its meticulous golf courses, picnic areas, and tennis courts as well as snow skiing during the winter months at nearby Paoli, Indiana, the student attending Mid-America College of Funeral Service will find a learning atmosphere and living environment which will greatly enrich his or her formal funeral service educational experience.
